Olivia is a student at Middlebury College in Vermont, double-majoring in studio art and psychology. She enjoys oil painting, writing poetry, reading, hiking, running, and alpine skiing. Olivia primarily works in oil paints, but enjoys experimenting with sculpture and acrylic airbrush paints. She plans to experiment in a myriad of ways during the rest of her time at Middlebury to find and create her own unique style. Olivia enjoys creating art about childhood and the associated feelings, as well as nostalgia. Moreover, much of her work is inspired by childhood photos, the natural world, internal feelings, and music.
Olivia has been creating art since she was a little kid, and enjoys expressing herself that way. Painting, to her, is an extension of herself. Similarly, it is an immersive experience, you’ll almost never find her painting without music and movement.
Furthermore, Olivia has a wide range of experience, from working on organic farms to being an editorial intern to working as a mental health technician, she never fails to want to broaden her experiences. Similarly, after graduating from Middlebury, she plans to pursue more school. Whether that be for an MFA or a DNP, she wants to continue to grow, learn, and help others in some way.
